TANYA GOODWIN

Tanya Goodwin is the National Curriculum Director with Her Song-a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation. In this role, Tanya leads the human trafficking educational program providing all aspects of program management, curriculum development, school district relations, educational awareness and prevention.

Tanya is no stranger to education, having spent 16 years as a professional educator, department chairman, assessment coordinator and dean.  While in these positions she successfully served in a range of educational settings within public, arts magnet, charter, special day school and Native American reservations for the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE).

Being a natural leader with the ability to build an award-winning educational program, Tanya has the distinction of achieving the highest student passing rate for a biology course exam in one school district while yet in another district successfully raising the school’s student FCAT Science passing rate in a year by 8%.  This distinction led her to being tapped to attend the National Congress of American Indians where she worked alongside Native Nations to implement STEM programs and increase Native populations into STEM careers.

Since joining Her Song, Tanya has worked alongside the Global Anti-Human Trafficking Organization A21 to research and draft age and developmentally appropriate K-12 resources to support the Florida Department of Education Rule 6A-1.094124, along with overseeing a pilot study on human trafficking lessons in the Duval County School District.

Tanya is very passionate about protecting all children from being exploited. With the passing of Florida’s HB519 on June 11, 2021 and a successful pilot program, she is ready to support all Florida School Districts with child trafficking lessons as well as school districts around the nation.

Tanya is available for private consultations and can be reached at Her Song (904) 513-0203 ext. 409
